Wednesday Night Cruiser Racing

The Spring series has now finished with Dave Goddman sailing Sea Otter being the undisputable winner. Congratulations to Dave who is now campaigning his Limbo 6.6.

The Summer series has now started (17 June) with Dave continuing his winning ways in the Limbo. The rest of us will need to sharpen up our skill sets!! Please remember to pay your £20 entry fee if not already done. (This goes towards the servicing of the Club racing marks).

Unfortunately, due to lack of volunteers to man our starting deck, the annual keelboat week has had to be cancelled. Glenn Smith has organised a training session on Monday 22nd June at 19.00 in the starting cabin for prospective volunteers to be shown how to run keelboat races from NYC. This will be informal and only for NYC races, although the principles would also apply to dinghies and other clubs. Hopefully we will have some interest in this which will help the continuation of sailing in the club.
